CHRISTINE M. MIDDLETON
Believing that family law matters are best managed by smaller, collaborative legal teams, Christy founded Family Solutions Law Group, LLC in 2009, with a vision to keep families out of the courtroom whenever possible. Her cases often involve complex business, valuation, and non-marital tracing issues.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1998, Christy clerked for judges in both Minnesota and United States District Courts. Following her clerkships, she spent two years litigating commercial disputes in addition to practicing family law, many times for the business owners she worked with in their corporate litigation disputes. In 2003, Christy joined Lindquist & Vennum, PLLP, where she practiced exclusively family law and focused on complex financial marriage dissolutions. Christy was selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition from 2005 through 2009. She is also a qualified neutral under Rule 114.
Christy’s skill and experience allow her to bring a calm, analytical approach to complicated and emotional family law matters. She is known for her compassionate approach with her clients, and her reasonable and practical approach to settlement negotiations. When settlement efforts fail, however, Christy’s civil litigation experience, coupled with her extensive knowledge of family law, provide her clients with strength and competency in the courtroom.
